E1: Interesting Stories

1) Red 

RED’s Hollywood-worthy HD video cameras just got way, way cheaper. This is a very powerful camera with a ‘cheap
price tag’ compared to it’s specs. Still, with a price tag of just under $8,000(body only) I can only dream one day of working with this camera.

2) Blackmagic

The new Black Magic Cinema Camera – a DSLR killer? Being able to shoot in raw at 3k resolution for $3,000 was unheard of until now. In about 2-3 years(hopefully) when I upgrade to a new camera this one will definitely be at the top of my list.

3) Go Pro

The Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition. This is the best “bang for your buck” camera available right now. The black edition is priced at $400, while the Silver and White editions are going for $300-$200. I’ve only heard great things about this camera. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these and see the future of Go Pro.
